Reject the two-lane candidates

Mayoral candidates Kisa Davison and Ryan Hunter want a two-lane Main Street in Kalispell.

The people of Kalispell need to really comprehend what will become of Kalispell if either of these mayoral candidates win: It will be an utter disaster.

Such a project will accomplish the ruin of downtown businesses (and especially those that are already struggling). Businesses will cave under a huge construction phase. People are already furious at the thought of a two-lane Main Street.

Main Street is past the days of a quaint little downtown vibe. Kalispell has grown so much, and people have places to go and places to be and can’t afford to be waiting in traffic for 45 minutes to get from one end of town to another.

The cost to the taxpayers of Kalispell will be just that: another (astronomical) cost.

It is likely that new left-leaning City Council members will greatly welcome a two-lane Main Street. So, if either of these mayoral candidates get elected, a two-lane Main Street could easily sweep through in a vote and the locals will be even more agitated than they already are.

Most Kalispell residents absolutely detest the thought of a four-lane being transformed into a two-lane.

Although the plan for a two-lane Main Street was recently voted down, you can bet it will be revived once the new City Council gets into office.

Do not be deceived. Vote no on Davison and Hunter. Vote wisely: Sid Daoud wants Main Street to remain four lanes.

Davison guided by conservative principles

In my years representing The Heart of Kalispell, I’ve had the privilege of watching Kisa Davison lead — whether running two thriving downtown businesses, rolling up her sleeves on a Habitat for Humanity build, or helping guide the work of the Kalispell Business Improvement District. In every setting, Kisa brings the same intelligence, grit, and genuine care for people that define great leadership.

Kisa knows what it means to balance a budget, motivate a team, and deliver results. She’s led through the fires of entrepreneurship, motherhood and community service — each sharpening her ability to make tough decisions and steward resources wisely. Those are exactly the qualities Kalispell needs as we face rising costs and work to strengthen our local economy.

Guided by conservative principles and grounded in Christian charity, Kisa leads with energy, humor, and heart. I’ve seen her listen deeply, act decisively, and inspire confidence. Kalispell will be well served by her steady, thoughtful leadership.

Daoud is a true conservative

Kalispell has always been a conservative town, and Sid Daoud is who we need most to save our city in the fight for mayor.

Sid is an avid supporter of the First and Second Amendments and lives by them. He was the only City Council member in the entire state of Montana who didn’t support Gov. Steve Bullock’s (unconstitutional) lockdown order in 2020. He is very fiscally conservative and will lead the city well in that respect as the next mayor.

Sid is the only candidate who doesn’t want to mess with Main Street by making it a two-lane street. He really cares about local citizens and what they truly want. He is a great guy, a true Montanan who lives and breathes Montana values. He is pro-life all the way from conception to natural death.

Sid will lead our city the way it should be led. Vote for Sid.
