A pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes sitting on the windshield of a woman’s car was suspicious enough for her to call the Whitefish Police Department.

Teenagers allegedly left a business without paying for several items and drove away in a dark gray Jeep Renegade.

A man reportedly argued and swore at a security employee about shoplifting. An officer issued him a ticket and released him.

A man calling from Mexico allegedly wanted to report his brother as missing, saying he spoke to him a couple of days ago and believed he had been arrested by U.S. Border Patrol or police; however, he was not listed on the jail roster. He was given a phone number for the Border Patrol. He said he would call back if he couldn’t locate his brother.

A woman called the police wanting advice, alleging her mother was not getting the appropriate health care at a facility. She was advised that her concerns, which reportedly involved insurance and payments, were a civil matter and was provided with resources available through the hospital.

Someone reportedly hit and injured deer and asked officers to "put it down.”

Someone found a backpack and coat and took them to the police department.
