WHITEFISH — Taylor Dorvall scored twice as the Whitefish Bulldogs bested Bigfork 2-1 in high school girls soccer Thursday at Smith Fields.

“It was such a cohesive effort of connecting passes and both defending and attacking as a whole,” Whitefish coach Kelly Ordway said.

After lightning pushed kickoff back 40 minutes, Dorvall kicked off the scoring just four minutes in, finishing a cross from Jenna Kimble to make it 1-0 Whitefish.

Dorvall doubled the advantage with another header, this one off a cross from Neva Sliman.

Brynn Bagley and Valkyries wouldn’t go down without a fight as she brought one back on a strike from the top of the box that hit the post and went in.
