Stillwater Christian soccer wins, volleyball falls

Stillwater Christian soccer claimed a 2-0 victory over Foothills Community Christian School Saturday. 

“It took us a little bit to get into the game and start playing like a team, passing and defending together,” Cougars coach Scott Strobel said. “We came out in the second half with a new fire in our bellies and had many chances to finish. We kept at it and finally got two goals in the last 10 mins. of the game.” 

Volleyball 

Stillwater Christian 3, Thompson Falls 1 

The Cougars volleyball team fell to Thompson Falls Saturday. 

Katherine Paolini led Stillwater Christian with nine kills in the match. The Cougars won the first set 25-22 before dropping the final three sets.
