C-Falls girls, Whitefish teams roll to wins

BROWNING — Eight different Columbia Falls players found the back of the net as the Wildkats defeated Browning 10-0 in high school girls soccer Thursday.

Taylor Rodgers and Riley Byrd each scored twice, while Columbia Falls also found goals from Cora Hannan, Isla Alexander, Onnikka Lawrence, Mila Johns, Piper Holm and Harper Holloway. 

“At this point in the season, we are looking to improve every day. We were able to get that done today,” Wildkats coach Thomas Clark said. “It was a fun opportunity for a lot of our younger players to get some game experience, and they played great.” 

Hannan and Holm scored their first career goals in the game.

Whitefish boys 10, Thompson Falls-Plains 0

WHITEFISH — Jack Oehlerich scored four goals and Kyler Jonson added a hat trick as the Whitefish boys downed Thompson Falls-Plains in boys soccer. 

Oehlerich, Jonson and Henry Barbieri put Whitefish ahead 3-0 within five minutes. 

Oehlerich added two more within the first 20 minutes and Whitefish took an 8-0 lead into the half. 

Grayson Rembaugh added a second half tally before Oehlerich’s fourth goal ended the game due to the mercy rule.

Atley Bingham scored twice and added an assist as the Whitefish girls downed Thompson Falls-Plains. 

The freshman scored the first two goals of the game before Jenna Kimble made it 3-0 at the half. Hayley Reardon and Adelle Flynn scored in the second half to secure the win. 

Taylor Dorvall had a pair of assists for the Bulldogs.
