C-Falls, Whitefish pull off soccer sweeps
PLAINS — Taylor Rodgers had two goals and three assists, Bella Mann and Mila Johns each had two goals and one assist, and Columbia Falls powered past Thompson Falls-Plains in North A girls soccer Tuesday, 10-0.
Evie Heitz added two more goals for the Wildkats, off helpers from Rodgers and Mann, and Annika Johns and Tatianna Raymond also found the net for Columbia Falls.
“It was awesome to see so many offensive threats step up and get goals today,” Wildkats coach Thomas Clark said. “Mila Johns works so hard for us in the midfield and I was excited to see that show up on the score sheet today.
“(Keeper) Elaina Dorr and our backline continue to stay focused and composed for full 80-minute games, and I’m really proud of them.”

WHITEFISH — Neva Sliman, Atley Bingham and Sage Ordway all scored goals as Whitefish improved to 8-1-0 with the shutout.
Ordway’s goal came off a Taylor Norvall corner kick; Whitefish outshot Libby 14-0.
“We are moving the ball around beautifully and had 95 percent of the possession tonight,” Whitefish coach Kelly Ordway said. “Delila Vine had great composure, distribution and drives from center back. Taylor Dorvall and Atley Bingham had excellent possession and penetration from the wing.”

WHITEFISH — Rowan Perkins scored in the second minute, Henry Barbieri scored twice in the next four minutes and Kyler Jonson had a hat trick in Whitefish’s win.
Graysen Rembaugh had two early assists and Barbieri and Jonson had helpers for the Bulldogs; Tyler Larkin and Rembaugh also found the net.
Kale Hall scored for the Loggers, off an assist from Jonathan Cano.

PLAINS — Jack Harris scored 40 seconds into the game and he and Brady Bell each had a hat track for the Columbia Falls boys.
Bell scored before the match was two minutes old; his third goal made it 7-0 just a minute into the second half. In the 50 th minute, Harris scored to make it 8-0.
Pablo Perless scored twiice off helpers from Jackson Scholz, who had four assists to go with one goal. Sol Masters had and assist and a goal.
