Good and evil

Trying to make sense of something that makes no sense is a futile effort.

The Democrat Party is unrecognizable in it’s current form and appears to have been willingly hijacked by virulent Marxist’s. They exhibit no signs of ever being able to be reasoned with as the dawning of each new day brings new hysterical and catastrophic thinking along with it’s attendant violent acting out.

I personally no longer see this as simply political differences but instead a spiritual battle between good and evil. Isaiah 5:20-21 in the Old Testament says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”

See the current political climate for what it truly is and do not lose heart but instead do as Ephesians 6 :10-18 directs us to “Put on the whole armour of God.” In order to battle this spiritual dark presence. 2 Chronicles 7:14-22 (excerpt) says “Then, if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Two hundred and fifty years of this nation being a representative republic will not be washed away by the few seeking it’s destruction but defended by the many who deeply love it. It’s America, now and forever.

US 93 is not freeway

I drive U.S. 93 between Happy Valley and Kalispell nearly every day. Over the past year, I have noticed that the accidents are becoming more frequent are also more serious. The cars that have collided have done so with high-speed judging by the way the cars are destroyed.

U.S. 93 is no longer a freeway. The on and off turns are increasing in proportion to the growth in businesses and housing between Kalispell and Whitefish. It’s seriously dangerous to continue to drive merrily along at 70-80 mph as if U.S. 93 were a freeway.

Now, increasingly I watch cars speed up between stops and swerve around traffic annoyed that they can’t maintain the speed that was probably once quite safe.

I don’t know the statistics, but as a driver, U.S. 93 has become dangerous. Perhaps there’s another solution and I sure hope someone is considering what to do, but it seems that lowering the speed limit on U.S. 93 to 55 mph and enforcing that speed limit, would solve the problem.

America is unrecognizable

I never imagined I would live under a dictatorship, but here we are.

The three branches of U.S. government are all under the power of one man; they are no longer three equal and separate branches that check and balance each other.

The president has used public office for private profit, which is against federal law. Forbes magazine says President Trump has added $3 billion to his wealth in the past year. The media is being quashed. Publications and programs that don’t align with federal approval are being shut down, or coerced into millions of dollars in apologies.

For inexplicable reasons, health care infrastructure is being torn apart. Over decades, science has brought life saving advances.  Research in disease is being shuttered. Science supporting vaccines that protect from lifelong debilitation or death is now shelved.

Environmental regulations critical to public health are disappearing. Public lands are at risk of being sold.

The National Guard is being used as a police force, which violates federal law and we’re edging towards using the military against the domestic populace, also against federal law.

The current administration is the biggest threat to our health and safety. It’s hard to recognize this version of America. Is this really what Americans want?
