Eureka blanks Anaconda, 26-0

ANACONDA — Rogan Lytle rushed 24 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns and threw for another score to lead Eureka over Anaconda 26-0 in Western B football Friday.

Lytle was 4 of 7 passing for 53 yards, with 35 yards coming on a fourth-down TD strike to Tyce Van Orden. 

Josh Lambertsen added 72 rushing yards on 15 carries, and his 4-yard scoring run in the first quarter was all the points the Lions (3-1 overall, 2-0 in the Western B) needed. 

Eureka outgained the Copperheads (3-2, 2-1 in league) 399-107 in total yardage; the hosts picked up just 57 yards on the ground and were 4 of 20 passing.  

Defensively, Emmett McKim had six tackles and Ayden Helgert and Lytle had five each. Lytle also recovered a fumble.
