Man accused of raping girl in Kalispell park given 10-year prison sentence

A man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in Lawrence Park in Kalispell in 2018 later received a 10-year prison sentence.
Prosecutors initially brought Michael Lee Storfa Jr., 30, up on one count of felony sexual assault in 2020, but it would be another three years before he landed in Flathead County District Court. Appearing before Judge Amy Eddy in January 2024, Storfa pleaded not guilty to the felony charge.
