A proprety owner complained about three people sleeping and hanging out in front of their building and wanted them to leave. Kalispell Police let them know that the people were using a public bench on a public sidewalk.

An officer responded to a complaint about a dog’s 12-hour barking marathon and listened to the canine’s cries for an additional 10 minutes. The officer attempted to contact the owner to no avail. They posted a notice on the door and left.

Two men with dogs reportedly hung around a grocery store and yelled at a customer walking home. The store sent an employee to check what was going on and they reported back that the men were indeed out there looking and creeping around. The customer made it home safely, but the manager wanted the men to leave. Officers moved along one man who was involved.

Someone allegedly heard neighbors fighting for 10 minutes and called the police, requesting they check on the residents’ welfare. Officers detained a woman who allegedly assaulted her elderly mother, who fell during the altercation.

Officers later received a call from someone alleging their sister was drunk and yelling at their mother, scaring her.

A woman reportedly walking in the center of the roadway was creating a traffic hazard.

A woman allegedly rambled to police about a man who was on America’s Most Wanted list and was hiding out in an office, using coffee cans to relieve himself so he didn’t have to leave the location. Everything at the scene appeared OK to the police.

Someone found it odd to see a pickup off in a field with its hazards on and no one in or around it. A tow truck was called.
