Eureka boys 3rd at Western B/C wrestling

BUTTE — Led by three champions and one runner up, the Eureka Lions finished third at the Western B/C Divisional wrestling tournament Saturday.

Hunter Grieve (126), Timothy Schmidt (132) and Rogan Lytle (175) all won divisional titles, while teammate Joe Banks (285) finished second and Colin Hickman (138) was third for Eureka. The Lions scored 228.5 points; Conrad won with 271.5, followed by Cascade at 266.5 

Mission-Charlo, led by Remington Wilson’s second-place finish at 103, was fourth at 190.5. 

Cut Bank won the girls divisional crown with 161 points, followed by Conrad at 143 and Anaconda at 142.5. 

Eureka was seventh with 84 points. Mission-Charlo was ninth at 58. 

The Lady Lions’ Kricket Bridges was the 100—pound champion, scoring three falls. 

Mission-Charlo saw both Meadow Ragen (155) and Olivia Carnell (170) take second.
