Law roundup: Woman gets struck by a sign from above
A concerned sibling called the Kalispell Police Department after a “no parking at any time” street sign fell on her sister’s head, causing bleeding and leaving a bump. The sibling confirmed that the bleeding was controlled and their sister did not want an ambulance. An attempt was made to call the office number for the city department overseeing signs and signals, but the line went dead after ringing twice.
A security guard called the Kalispell Police Department when the driver of a white Dodge Ram in the mall parking lot reportedly pulled out a gun while being told to move along. After pointing the firearm at the guard, the excitable man allegedly sped off. He nearly hit the guard in the process. The guard said he just wanted to notify law enforcement if they had further issues with the man and didn’t want to pursue charges.
