Charter school produces first play, ‘The Girl at the Edge of Everything’
The Rising Wolf Academy acting class at Glacier High School debuts its first stage production with the imaginative and heartfelt play, “The Girl at the Edge of Everything,” Jan. 14 and 15.
Blending humor, wonder and emotional depth, “The Girl at the Edge of Everything,” based on the acclaimed play by Finegan Kruckemeyer, tells the story of Simone Ives, a girl overwhelmed by an overbooked life filled with school, activities, and endless responsibilities. Far away, at the very edge of the universe, a lonely girl lives by herself, waiting for something — anything — to change. When a strange accident involving a spectacular number of fireworks sends Simone hurtling through space, she crash-lands into the girl’s quiet world.
