Illegal invasion
The United States is now officially a terrorist state, run by a criminal organization led by an insurrectionist traitor, convicted felon and demented pedophile.
And I suspect, as usual, the legacy, billionaire-owned media empire will turn the story of Trump’s illegal invasion of a sovereign nation into a big bowl of soft mush for the consumption of pampered, infantile, brain-dead Americans, who will quickly become bored and return to entertaining themselves into oblivion until Trump dangles the next shiny object before them. Rinse and repeat.
USA! USA! USA!

Automated theft
Recently, many Montanans got a postcard from Christi Jacobsen, our Montana secretary of state. In it she proclaimed she was going to “clean up” Montana’s voting records to stop all the “voter fraud” going on in our state.
The problem is no organizations who monitor voter fraud, including those run by the conservative Heritage Foundation, can find any such fraud other than two — yes, two — examples found in Montana over the past two election cycles. As a county election judge, I know just how seriously our county election offices take their jobs as I have been through the training multiple times.
What Jacobsen is not telling you is that she has purchased what I believe is a highly defective software program from Kristi Noem at Department of Homeland Security that is known to throw hundreds of qualified voters off the rolls based on “rules” designed by a software engineer with an ax to grind. It has been proven to incorrectly throw many qualified voters off the rolls with little notification that your voting rights are being taken from you. This product has been shown to be especially targeted to groups like our indigenous citizens, throwing many off the rolls and denying their right to vote. They are not the only folks targeted, elderly people and those voters on the margins of our economy are also targeted.
I believe this is a clear attempt by the Gov. Greg Gianforte administration to choose their voters. Don’t be fooled by this dirty business. Let’s keep our Montana voters’ rights and stop this automated theft of your voting rights.

Wrapping paper delight
As longtime subscribers of the Inter Lake, we appreciate your newsprint paper and our morning ritual of coffee and the paper. We enjoy all the local news of events and activities here in the Flathead and state.
The comic papers have been used as the family wrapping paper since our children were little. The latest Christmas editions sponsoring the Boys and Girls Club art work have upscaled our wrapping presents. Thanks for showing their talent and adding more color to our lives.
