Law roundup: Homeowner worries pranks will snowball into property damage
Two boys, or punks, as a caller referred to them, were reportedly throwing snowballs at their house and other houses. The homeowner told the Whitefish Police Department that they were worried they would break a window.
Room service reportedly found a Ruger 9 mm in a hotel room, and an employee wanted officers to come and take the pistol after they tried contacting the owner. The pistol was secured in a safe at the front desk. Later, a man went to the Police Department, saying he left a pistol in the nightstand drawer and wanted to pick it up.
