Law roundup: Sneaky tenant allegedly steals shoes
A woman reportedly called the Kalispell Police Department, then yelled at someone, and, returning to the phone, told the dispatcher a “crackhead” stole her package. The package, which allegedly contained $300 Nike Jordans, didn’t have an apartment number listed on it and was delivered to the wrong address.
She reportedly went to the apartment where the shoes had been delivered to look for the package and said a woman told her she wasn’t giving her the package, telling officers she stole it. The delivery driver also went to the address after getting a call about the missing package, telling officers it was gone and that they believed the tenant had it and was withholding it.
