Law roundup: Driver attempts clean get away in car wash crash
The driver of a dark blue Escalade allegedly crashed into a woman’s car inside a car wash and fled the scene, heading west on East Idaho Street. The woman complained of a neck injury but declined to be checked by a medic. The manager of the car wash said they would email footage of the hit-and-run to the Kalispell Police Department.
A man allegedly pulled out a Taser and pointed it at a woman after she threw a soup bowl at him during an argument in their apartment. She called the police, wanting their assistance in his removal. He reportedly told the responding officer that he pulled the Taser out so he could “get her to calm down so he could leave.” She reportedly told the officer she was fearful of him and did not want him to return to the apartment. While the officer was talking to her, she allegedly shut the door and they were unable to advise her about applying for a temporary restraining order.
