Socialists have come to town
The lead story on Jan. 9 (Protests grow after deadly shooting by ICE agent) is beyond disgusting.
The media is going to create another George Floyd. I’m sorry that she lost her life, but she was far from an innocent bystander. She was a Minneapolis-based immigration activist serving as a member of ICE watch. This group aims to monitor, track, interfere and oppose ongoing federal immigration enforcement operations.
The people you pictured are going to be encouraged to continue to protest and support attacks against law enforcement, and no, I’m not jumping to conclusions. Socialist groups all over the country are all over this, and the media — I’m pointing my finger at you, Daily Inter Lake — are encouraging it.
The governor of Minnesota and the mayor of Minneapolis are beyond reprehensible for fueling the fire. I expected more from Kalispell, but I guess the leftist and socialists have come to town. Children see this and think not obeying law enforcement is OK. Shame on you!

Election threats
Today, I received a postcard mailer from Christi Jacobsen, our secretary of state, proclaiming that she is partnering with the Trump administration to strengthen election security by stopping non citizens from voting.
This card with a photo of Donald Trump, arriving five years and a day after Donald Trump incited a riot to stop Americans votes from being counted, is disgustingly clear. The Trump administration will continue to lie about voting to prevent free and fair elections, and our secretary of state is going to help.
The only threat to fair and free elections in our state is Christi Jacobsen. The last change her office made requireing your birth year caused an increased number of mail in ballots to be disqualified across the state, her office did nothing to educate voters, some counties did and had fewer ballots rejected.
The only threat to voting in America is Donald Trump and his democracy busters.
