Suspect in felony assault case picks up drug possession charge
Prosecutors in October added a felony drug possession charge against a Kalispell man already awaiting trial in Flathead County District Court for allegedly running down a pedestrian with his pickup truck over the summer.
Steven Lee Myers, 34, was originally facing a felony count of aggravated assault for the alleged Fourth of July ramming in the parking lot of a gas station and fast food restaurant along U.S. 2 in Evergreen. On Oct. 7, prosecutors added a felony count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs after a bag of white powder allegedly found on Myers during his arrest was identified as cocaine by the Montana Crime Lab.
