Law roundup: Ukulele owner sits within the sound of silence
Two water bottles and a ukulele were reported stolen by someone who also told the Kalispell Police Department that they had been recently threatened by an older man and were unsure if the situations were related.
A flustered woman asked officers to stop by her home, alleging that a man kept showing up after 10 p.m. and was “unlawfully” staying at an adjoining unit, which made her very uncomfortable. An officer didn’t see any evidence of recent vehicle or foot traffic outside the house, with snow still covering the driveway and walking path. She was reportedly insistent that the unidentified man was there last night and might have messed with her doors.
