Law roundup: Neighbor’s need to dump trashy behavior

A man with a holstered gun reportedly threatened a neighbor taking out the trash in an alley, making comments about shooting him. Racial slurs were also reportedly yelled during the argument and the man punched a telephone pole. An officer told both parties to ignore one another and, if someone tried to start a fight or argument, to separate from each other and call the police.

A suspicious homemade trailer fashioned out of wood allegedly sat at a location for about two weeks and a nearby resident told the police there was a dog inside and noted an “off-putting” odor emanating from the trailer. Officers attempted to call multiple phone numbers, trying to reach the owners and left a voicemail and a notice. The officers noted that the dogs appeared to be awake and moving and that the outside temperature was 26 degrees.
