Artists host pet art event to benefit Flathead County Animal Shelter
Four local women artists are coming together for a special cause during the June 4 Art Walk in downtown Whitefish.
Diana Sheridan, Peggie Brousseau, Teena Wood and Debra Gilsoul will showcase and sell custom pet portrait card packs, with 100% of proceeds supporting animals in need. In addition, the artists will be showing some of their own original artwork.
The event will be held at McGough and Company on the first Thursday in June, coinciding with the popular Art Walk. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their
creative process, and purchase unique, locally made pet portrait card packs. Representatives from
Flathead Shelter Friends will also be in attendance to answer any questions about pet adoption.
All proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Flathead Shelter Friends, directly benefiting the
Flathead County Animal Shelter and its mission to care for and rehome animals in the community.
