Carole Kohl, 86
Carole Kohl, 86, born May 17, 1940, in Princeton, Minnesota, to Herbert Marten Reich and Eudora Anderson Reich.
Carole graduated from Sentinel High School in 1958 in Missoula. Carole met Arlan Kohl while in high school; they were married June 9, 1960. Many moves in years to follow; while at the University of Michigan, son Michael was born. They moved to Virginia in 1969, from Virginia in 1973 to Anchorage, Alaska, staying 14 years, and moved to Kalispell in 1987. Carole enjoyed many crafts, knitting, crochet and cross-stitch, but most of all loved to make beautiful quilts, wall hangings, table runners and place mats. She also made many banners and paraments for Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arlan H. Kohl.
Carole is survived by her son Michael J. Kohl, of Kalispell; her brother Wayne Reich; and nephews Ryan Reich of Spokane, Washington, and Dan Reich of Seattle, Washington.
The graveside memorial service will be an urn burial held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Kalispell on June 12 at 10 a.m. Darlington Funeral Home is caring for her family.
