Law roundup: Man claims cop robbed him of tow job

A man called the Kalispell Police Department upset that a towing job was reportedly given to another company “even though everything was set up for him to go take it” and wanted to speak to an officer about his decisions.

Three to four unwelcome visitors reportedly parked themselves in a man’s driveway and started arguing with him and wouldn’t leave. He called the police, saying someone had threatened to slash his tires. About five minutes later he called back after changing his mind, saying he wanted to “call it off.” Officers still responded and learned that the standoff stemmed from an argument between roommates and the group was there to pick something up. Officers counseled everyone, and peace was restored once again.
