Northwest Montana History Museum screens ‘Matilda’ March 24
Movie Night at the Museum presents “Matilda,” the family-friendly hit adapted from Roald Dahl’s 1988 novel of the same name.
“Matilda” is a heartwarming story of a child who overcomes a family that does not understand her through reading —– and a little magic. Directed and narrated by Danny DeVito, the film stars Mara Wilson as Matilda Wormwood. The Wormwood family has never understood their clever youngest child, who prefers books to television. When Harry Wormwood (DeVito) sells a used car to Miss Trunchbull (Pam Ferris), the tyrannical principal of Crunchem Hall Elementary School, Matilda is taken on as a student.
