Law roundup: Person finds the source of tinkling sounds

A drunk man on Central Avenue allegedly urinated on a rock in front of someone’s window. They quickly learned about ticking off the wrong person when Whitefish Police officers cited them for having an open container of alcohol, trespassing and urinating in public.

Police responded to Whitefish School District after five to six teens were allegedly seen lifting a boy off the ground and tearing his clothing. The person who called the police said one of the older boys told them he was trying to get the group to stop. The boys reportedly told officers they were roughhousing and were all friends.
