Motorists can expect delays at Sportsman's Bridge this week
The Montana Department of Transportation and Sletten Construction will pour concrete for the Sportsman’s Bridge foundation May 20-21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Crews will pour concrete to form the upper elements of the bridge piers, known as caps. This work will take place on both the in-water piers and the onshore bridge-end abutments.
During these activities, the bridge’s eastbound lane will be closed. Traffic will move in a single lane controlled by temporary traffic signals and flaggers, alternating eastbound and westbound traffic. Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
A 10-foot width restriction will also be in place. Vehicles exceeding this width will need to take an alternate route.
For questions or concerns, please contact Sloane Stinson at 406-207-4484, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or email sloane@bigskypublicrelations.com.
