Several teenagers took the game of "duck, duck, goose" literally, prompting a woman to report them to the Kalispell Police Department. She said the group was chasing after ducks and geese and even managed to grab one unlucky goose in Woodland Park. Officers swept through the area but found no one incorporating wildlife into their childhood games.

A motorist told the authorities that the driver of a black Dodge Ram was tailgating her and making an obscene gesture with one finger. The obnoxiousness began in the Happy Valley area, she said.

Thieves broke into a construction trailer overnight and made off with tools.

Scammers got hold of someone's PayPal account and charged more than $7,000 to it. The owner said he alerted PayPal, canceled his card and closed out his bank account, but the bank still wanted it reported to the police.

Concerned about several young children in a black Nissan Armada without parental supervision, a passerby contacted the authorities. Responding officers spoke with the children, who appeared happy and healthy. The group was about to head into a restaurant.

Officers checked in on what they thought was a disabled vehicle, but it turned out the motorist was just lost. Google Maps got him on his way.

The owner of a white Toyota Sequoia earned a citation after they left it in a handicapped parking space for several days.

Forgetting to grab the money from the ATM at a big box store, a shopper returned to the business to learn that another customer snagged the cash. Store security passed along the suspect's potential information, and investigators tried to reach her by phone. The man said he did not plan on pressing charges if the money was returned to him.
