NO. 32117 INVITATION TO BID PROJECT/OWNER: Flathead County Health Department Renovation 1035 1st Ave W Kalispell, Montana 59901 ARCHITECT: Cushing Terrell 745 South Main Street Kalispell, Montana 59901 Flathead County is requesting Bids from qualified Contractors for the Health Department Renovation project. The project is located at the Flathead County Earl Bennett Building, at 1035 1st Ave W, Kalispell, MT 59901. This project involves the renovation of roughly 550 sf of office area in the southeast corner of the second floor. The project includes the addition of some interior partition walls to create and privatize a new conference room, a new office, and the expansion of one existing office. Fully interior scope with the intent to be a minimal impact to the existing spaces, only affecting finishes and building systems as needed to complete the work in the select few areas. Additional details and other Work is indicated in the Contract Documents. The anticipated notice of award is June 25th, 2026 with an estimated substantial completion date of September 30th, 2026. The office suite where this work is to take place, is not currently occupied, so Contractor will have full access to and full control of the work area itself. However, the adjacent office suites and the rest of the building will be occupied and open to the public, so exceptional care and consideration of any disruptions, temporary utilities, noise, dust, odors, etc will need to be coordinated and approved by the owner in advance. The one percent (1%) Montana Gross Receipts Construction and Montana Prevailing Wage Rates are both applicable. NO. 32141 LEGAL NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO OBJECT USDA FOREST SERVICE - FLATHEAD NATIONAL FOREST Comprehensive River Management Plan for the Flathead Wild and Scenic River The USDA Forest Service has prepared an updated environmental assessment (EA) and draft decision notice and finding of no significant impact (DN/FONSI) for the Flathead Comprehensive River Management Plan (CRMP) Project. The Flathead National Forest and Glacier National Park are proposing to adopt an interagency comprehensive river management plan for the three forks of the Flathead Wild and Scenic River (Flathead WSR). The primary goal of this plan is to provide management direction for protecting and enhancing the river values of the Flathead WSR. The Responsible Official for this decision is Anthony Botello, Forest Supervisor. The proposed action and draft CRMP were developed to meet the statutory requirements set forth in the WSR Act. The Responsible Official is planning to implement a modified version of the proposed action. The Flathead CRMP Project is an activity implementing a land management plan. This activity is subject to pre-decisional objection under subparts A and B of 36 CFR Part 218. Objections, including attachments, must be filed with the appropriate reviewing officer within 45 calendar days following publication of this notice in the Daily Inter Lake, the newspaper of record. The publication date in the newspaper of record is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an objection. Objectors should not rely upon dates or timeframe information provided by any other source. It is the objector’s responsibility to ensure timely filing of a written objection with the reviewing officer pursuant to 36 CFR 218.9. Objections will only be accepted from those who have previously submitted specific written comments regarding the proposed project during scoping or other designated opportunities for public comment in accordance with 36 CFR 218.5(a). Issues raised in objections must be based on previously submitted timely, specific written comments regarding the proposed project unless the issue is based on new information arising after the designated comment opportunities.
