A crowd of onlookers cheers as Dawn Breedlove of Bryant, Wisc., starts her race in the 10-12 dog class on day one of the Flathead Sled Dog Days Saturday in Olney. Breedlove’s time for running the 36 mile course was 2:53:22. She was in first place at press time.
