"Though I do not agree with the current state of politics in our country, I also do not agree with the hateful rhetoric used against Trump on Saturday," said march participant and Whitefish resident Kathryn Hayes. "For many people across the country standing in solidarity was about much more than womens rights and being 'anti-Trump.' My aim was to capture this throughly and appropriately. The turnout in Montana on Saturday consisted largely of men as well as women and children, holding signs that ranged from 'Not my President' to 'Womens Rights' to 'ALT-wrong' to 'Keep public lands PUBLIC.' I wanted to capture and portray the fact that the march premise was not anti-Trump, rather resistance and awareness to dangerous policies arising from the new administration."
