The new skylight in the Flathead High School library was designed by A&E + SMA Design. The translucent panels shift from blue to white as the sun moves through the sky. The skylight has a pyramid-shaped design to more effectively channel water away, as the previous design had been a source of ongoing water leaks and was tarped over off and on for years. Made of fiberglass-reinforced panels, it offers better insulation. (Hilary Matheson/Daily Inter Lake).
