Kalispell police took a call from a woman who is tired of an older man yelling at people when they park on the city street in front of his house on Fifth Avenue East North. He's followed at least one driver to record a license plate and makes people afraid to park there, she said. It is legal to park on city streets.

A man was arrested on a warrant for partner assault. A man was picked up on Eighth Avenue West on a warrant for being a fugitive from justice. A woman was charged with DUI on West Idaho at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. A man got tagged with his second DUI on North Meridian Road a half hour later.

At Athlete's Foot, a man made people nervous when he hung around, watching women through the windows. At Russell School, a man approached three girls on the playground and tried to talk to them. One told a staff member and the man ran away. He's described as 30 to 50 years old, about 6 feet tall, with black hair and a goatee. At Elrod, there was confusion about a supposed pedophile parked across the street, but it was only a father there to pick up his child.

On Third Avenue West, a resident was disturbed to find a co-worker had been in his house while he took a nap.

A video camera was stolen at Kalispell Center Mall. A white 1996 Lincoln Continental was reported stolen from behind the UPS building on East Idaho Street. Keys were left in the vehicle - a beacon to car thieves. The car was found later at the mall.

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies got a workout chasing suspects and dealing with widespread nastiness.

At about 11 p.m., someone saw two women attacking some men. One of the men also called for assistance. Deputies found the truck the women left in; a short foot chase followed and both women were arrested for assault. At 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, a resident in Coram said people were trying to break into his vehicle, popping tires and breaking windows, and then tried to kick in the door of his apartment, with a theme song of yelling and screaming for him to come outside. One of the men fled when deputies arrived, but the man was caught and arrested.

A neighborhood dispute erupted after midnight, with yelling and screaming on Nicholson Drive. The combatants were separated. Door-kicking highlighted another neighborhood dispute on Ganz. Threats resulted from another neighbor dispute over water.

In Hungry Horse, a young man reportedly knocked his mother to the ground and then left. A witness at Meadow Manor reported watching a person being assaulted, but there was no reported victim. Road rage led to a confrontation at Tri-City Grocery. An out-of-control girl on Batavia Lane was taken to the hospital for help. Threats were left on an answering machine in Rhodes Draw.

Two women who threatened to show up at a home, did, but caused no major problems.

A woman on Montana 206 reported two dogs in her goat pen that killed her goat. The animal warden was called.

Two boys pulling guns out the truck of a car and pointed them around caused concern at the Applebee's parking lot. A woman showed up and they all left together. A deputy found the vehicle and learned the woman had just bought her boys new rifles.

Stolen auto parts were reported at Mountain Side Auto.

A man canceled a complaint about his girlfriend's son cleaning out the entire basement of his house when the son agreed to return the items.

Whitefish police sent a couple of people on their way after an argument on Fifth and Spokane.

A driver who was reportedly intoxicated was sober, but suffering a medical problem.

The source of a strong chlorine smell from the sewer on Edgewood Drive couldn't be found.
