Flathead County Sheriff's Office was summoned to Hodgson Road Wednesday, when a caller said it's not the first time a woman threw things and tried to run over a man there; she was arrested for partner assault.

Another man went for a walk to cool off after deputies were called to domestic disharmony at Alpine Inn Wednesday night.

Lingering hostilities over a traffic conflict reportedly led to threats in Many Lakes. No one wanted to press charges after a woman reportedly hit someone in the mouth at Kari Dodge parking lot Wednesday night. A deputy counseled neighbors in Somers who argued about parking.

The trespassing report on Four Mile Drive was about a four-wheel drive vehicle moving large rocks with a chain on either private property or a county road. The road department was needed to put the rocks back in place.

Deputies checked out a report that a pack of youths was beating on a boy in Hungry Horse; they deemed it unfounded. A well-meaning friend reported a friend was overdue from skiing, but the man turned out to be safely home. Two 11-year-old girls were reported missing at West Valley School Wednesday evening, but they were also found to be safe.

A fire-department coat and a cell phone were stolen at the Hilltop Bar in Marion.

A possible fight was reported at Old Steel Bridge, where about a dozen males gathered Wednesday evening. Officers found beer cans, but no evidence of a fight.

A woman was pretty sure that a woman in a restaurant was the same one who stole her purse a while ago. A deputy went to make sure there were no problems at a confrontation. Apparently, there wasn't, because there's no report.

A rape was reported to a Columbia Falls school counselor, who called for a deputy.

A mother reportedly left two young children unattended in a van at Wal-Mart for at least 20 minutes.

An ambulance was called and no charges were pressed after a man an indecently exposed man was found lying down at the end of Cedar Drive.
