Beverly B. Field, 70

Beverly B. Field, 70, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at her home near Hungry Horse following a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 15, 1934, near Koesauqua, Iowa, to Stuart and Madeline McCracken. After attending grade and high school in Newton, Iowa, she took nurses training in Des Moines.

Beverly married Sam Bolton in 1955. The couple moved to Montana, where their three children were born. They were divorced in 1977. In 1980, she married Richard N. Field.

After retirement they enjoyed traveling. Bev enjoyed reading, painting watercolors, and being with family and friends when they lived at their home on Swan Lake. In 1995, they moved to their cabin on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, at the family home; her mother, Madeline McCracken of Great Falls; three children, Shan and Barbara Bolton of Lolo, Jeff and Karen Bolton of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Valerie Bolton Meister and husband Matt of Vancouver, Wash.; four grandchildren; stepson Ralph Field of Fairfield, Calif.; stepdaughter Belinda Field of Austin, Texas; and four step grandchildren.

Bev is preceded in death by her father and a brother.

A special thank you to Dr. Goodman and a super caring staff (Lois, Dwanna, Janelle, Brenda, Kim) for their care and concern over the years.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the United Methodist Church in Columbia Falls. The Rev. David Jones will officiate.

A reception will follow the service at the church.
