Flathead County Sheriff's Office was busy with gunmen and con men.

A man was arrested for assault with a weapon after a report of him and his hunting rifle causing fear on Judith Road. A woman said a friend of hers called to say her estranged husband had pointed a gun at her. At A Bargain Storage, a woman heard a gunshot and felt a bullet whiz past her head.

On Eagle Bend Drive, a woman with a muffled voice called to say the resident was delinquent with her $54 cable bill. The resident said she'd paid her bill and it was $34. The caller kept putting her on hold and said the customer could clear it up with a credit card number, which the resident gave. She later called the cable company and learned her bill was not delinquent.

Another resident on Montana 40 took a call from someone offering to lower her credit-card interest rates. The resident doesn't have credit cards. On Mountain Drive, a man appeared, saying he had left items in the home's crawl space when he lived there years ago. The resident's landlord said the home was not rented two years ago.

A man on Mountain Drive was arrested after a report that he punched a woman in the back. A brothers' fight on Birch Grove Drive was over a hat; a 15-year-old boy went to the hospital. A domestic disturbance on Montana 206 was only verbal.

A $600 ring was stolen on Judith Road. Illegal tree cutting was reported on Foothill Road.

A parent reported that his son took a car without permission on Mountain View Drive Wednesday night. Thursday morning, emergency services were needed when the vehicle crashed into a power pole near Les Schwab on U.S. 2. Power was knocked out and the youth ran away.

If your wife is mad at you and you need a place to sleep, the drive-through at Burger King isn't the spot. Deputies moved a man from there at 3 a.m. Thursday.

A squatter was reported in a camper in Marion.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on Electric Avenue.

A black bear cub wore out its welcome on Sandy Hill Lane.

Deputies went to Whalebone Drive, where a man was seen walking down the street and screaming. He was found to be wearing headphones and signing, causing no trouble.
