Raceway hands out driver, crew awards

Montana Raceway Park's annual awards banquet was held Oct. 16 to honor drivers and pit crews in seven divisions.
Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Driver, Worst Crash, Hard Luck Driver, Best Appearing Car, Sportsman of the Year, Driver of the Year and Pit Person of the Year awards were presented in the bomber, compact, Formula 1 Indy's, hobby stock, Flathead Legends, limited sportsman and super late model divisions.
Dirk Lybeck was the recipient of the 2004 Dave Parkinson All-Around Racer Award. Jed Shue, the 2003 winner, did the presentation.
Lybeck and Shue compete in the limited sportsman division.
The 2005 season is scheduled to begin April 30 with the 15th annual Test, Tune and Tech Day and Free Chili Feed.
