Dustin Dale Petersen, 32

Dustin Dale Petersen, 32, died Nov. 13, 2004, of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

He graduated in 1991 from Flathead High School and lived his life in the Flathead Valley.

He worked at the Cenex Farm Store for several years where he honed his great people skills. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his dad.

Dustin was known for his passionate love of the water and enjoyed boating and water skiing. Winter was his favorite time of year and he loved snow and snowboarding.

He was in his last year of training as an X-ray technician and enjoyed his work at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. It was there that he met and fell in love with Tonya Johnson, whom he planned to marry in 2005.

Dustin is remembered by his friends and family as a humble, unassuming man who never knew his worth to other people. His sense of humor, kindness and his gentle smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Donald; mother, Agnes; sister, Lisa; stepdaughter, Lexy Holcomb; fiancee, Tonya, and her children, Brauhn and Seth. He also leaves behind his cat Jack, and Mighty Whitey, the fish.

A memorial fund in his honor has been set up at the Radiology Department at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Kalispell's First Church of the Nazarene at 1295 Whitefish Stage Road.
