Sheila Ann Harris, 72
Sheila Ann Harris, 72, died on Nov. 21, 2004, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Libby, on April 3, 1932, to Earl and Alice (Balding) McCrory. (She was always proud of being born on the family farm on the Kootenai River.) She graduated from Libby High School in the class of 1950.
Sheila married Billy Blew Harris in Libby on Aug. 12, 1950. They had three children, Perry, Paul and Patty. Sheila was a waitress from age 16 until retirement. She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook and animal lover. She liked to fish and pick huckleberries.
She will be remembered for her kind and loving heart for her family and friends, and the gift of making everyone feel special.
At the time of her death, she had been living with her daughter and grandson, residing there for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Sheila is survived by sons, Perry Blew Harris, and his wife, Alice, of Libby, Paul Burdell Harris, and his wife, Diana, of Roseburg, Ore.; daughter, Patty Craft, and son, Travis, of Kalispell; three sisters, Earline Shields and her husband, Bernard, of Buckley, Wash., Sharon Neff and her husband, Butch, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Kathleen Wheeler and husband, Gary, of Libby; cousin, Kayo Smith, and his wife, Delores "Wienie," of Libby; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special puppies, Sunshine and Coal Be.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
