Christmas parade rolls on Friday

Kalispell kicks off the holiday season with its annual Christmas City of the North parade at 7 p.m. Friday in downtown Kalispell.

Parade participants will line up at 6 p.m. on Eighth Street West.

The parade route follows Main Street from Eighth Street to Center Street, then follows Center to Fifth Avenue West before turning back to Flathead High School.

Sponsored by the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, the colorful parade has become a holiday tradition in the Flathead Valley.
