Hunters stuck near Hungry Horse Dam

North Valley Search and Rescue and the Canyon Quick Response Unit were paged Saturday afternoon to rescue two hunters who were stuck on the west side of the Hungry Horse Reservoir. According to reports at the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, the men couldn't move their truck, which was getting low on gas, and their feet were starting to get numb when they managed to contact someone using a cell phone. Emergency personnel used snowcats to reach them.

The sheriff's department took reports of a break-in the the 300 block of Badrock Drive and a burglary at Northern Plastics on Montana 35 in which there was significant damage to the property.

Deputies also broke up a juvenile party in the 100 block of Sylvan Drive.
