A Bigfork teenager, on probation for having sex with a girl at a party in Ferndale last year, is back in trouble.

Patrick Larson, 18, has now been charged in connection with a Kalispell vandalism spree last month.

Larson admitted this summer that he knew the girl was 15 and admitted that they had sex in October 2003. He was 17 then.

He was charged in Lake County with sexual intercourse without consent, a felony, because people under the age of 16 in Montana are presumed to be unable to consent to sex.

Under a legal resolution called a consent decree, Larson agreed to "cease alleged illegal activities."

He was ordered to remain on probation until his 21st birthday. He must pay restitution to a crime victim fund, is prohibited from using drugs or alcohol, cannot possess or use firearms, and must obtain permission before leaving the state or moving from his parents' residence.

On Sept. 22, Larson and two other people were arrested in Kalispell on charges of felony criminal mischief for allegedly breaking windows in businesses.

A felony conviction could violate the terms of Larson's consent decree.

Lake County Attorney Bob Long has asked Barbara Harris, the assistant attorney general who prosecuted Larson, to look into the case.

She has received no information yet from Flathead County, she said Wednesday.

Long said that normally the consent decree would be reviewed if there is a conviction for another crime.

Another teenager, Travis Reynolds, 17, is also accused of sexual intercourse without consent involving the same girl at the same party. He was 16 at the time.

Reynolds is awaiting trial in Flathead County.
