Disco ball lights up Westside

Kalispell Police heard from a Third Avenue West resident tired of revisiting the 1970s late Tuesday. The caller complained about light bouncing off a disco ball across the street and coming under her shades. Officers suggested she buy heavier shades. If that fails to solve the problem, they agreed to return to speak with the disco devotees across the street.

Officers responded to a reckless driver complaint late Tuesday on Third and Main Place. A man in a baseball cap was driving on the sidewalk with a passenger with long, blond hair.

Residents on Sixth Street West noticed a man in their back yard with a black, hooded top. The man took off running after a loud bang erupted. No one was arrested.

Police investigated complaints of loud occupants of a brown Cadillac throwing pumpkin pieces about the yard of a Second Avenue West house. The pumpkin was picked up and the Cadillac people piped down when officers arrived.

A dispute resulted in an arrest Tuesday at the Montana Gold Nugget. A 33 year-old-man was charged with partner assault.

A woman reported to police that she was startled Tuesday when she got a call from an Arabic-speaking man chanting the same words "over and over and over." She captured the phone number with caller Id and returned the call but the person who answered hung up on her.

Kalispell Police and Fire responded to an industrial accident at Plum Creek Timber Company in Evergreen. A man was injured when a log fell of a truck.

Montana Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 93 and Reserve.

A driver exhibiting road rage was reported turning onto Cooperative Way Wednesday. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies made no contact with the uncooperative driver.

A school board member arriving for a meeting found Smith Valley School dripping from a paintball assault late Tuesday.

The grass looked greener to some loose cows seen approaching the Village Greens Golf Course Tuesday along West Evergreen.
