Diana Kerry, sister of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, will be in Pablo from noon to 2:30 p.m. today as part of a campaign swing through Montana.

She is scheduled to visit the new office building at the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Complex. The event is open to the public.

Kerry also campaigned for her brother in Montana in July, visiting Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Helena, Missoula and the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations.

"She was so well-received at Crow and Northern Cheyenne that she said she wanted to come back," said Bob Ream, chairman of the Montana Democratic Party.

Kerry hobbled off the airplane in Great Falls. She's on crutches after smashing her kneecap in a fall at a Detroit airport two weeks ago.

Kerry said the purpose of her trip is to encourage residents of the state Indian reservations to vote in the general election Nov. 2.

She went to Stone Child College on the Rocky Boy's reservation and Havre on Saturday. On Sunday, she was scheduled to visit Fort Belknap College and Blackfeet Community College in Browning.
