| October 18, 2004 1:00 AM

Mischief makers ran amok in Kalispell Saturday night and early Sunday morning. From Main Street downtown came a report of a gray Jeep Cherokee weaving in and out of traffic while the occupant or occupants sprayed silly string at other drivers. Someone shot a window at the Super 8 motel , most likely with a BB or pellet gun.

Two eggs were thrown at a house in the 500 block of 10th Avenue West. Miscreants shot paintballs at two houses on Sherry Lane, and a house on Garland Street was peppered with pink paintballs.

Pink paintballs also showed up Flathead County Sheriff's Office reports - in this case, splattered on the front doors of the Burger King in Evergreen.

Officers suspected drunk driving when a tan van was found in a ditch on Montana 35 near Glacier Pines - and the driver, a 48-year-old woman, was charged with DUI, driving without a valid license or liability insurance, and a criminal contempt warrant.

A report came in from Lutheran Camp Road that someone driving a black Nissan 280Z with a blue light - who was definitely not a cop - was pulling people over. The car was later reported in downtown Kalispell, but police never located it.

A 27-year-old man was found dead by his roommate Sunday. Officers were still investigating, but reports from the sheriff's office indicated that foul play was not suspected.
