Whitefish Police

Whitefish police took a report from a resident on Wisconsin where a bear got into garbage and ate a hot-tub cover. Another bear loped towards the sports complex on Montana 40.

A building on Spokane Avenue was vandalized; eggs are suspected, but not confirmed.

At 1 p.m., three women were reportedly using drugs in a car behind Casey's bar. A 20-year-old Columbia Falls woman was charged with underage alcohol possession, a 29-year-old Martin City woman was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, and a 31-year-old Whitefish woman was charged with having paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol.
