A driver on Osborne Avenue also seemed to have left his manners at home. A woman complained that the man backed into her vehicle, became belligerent and refused to exchange information with her.

Numerous callers appear to have forgotten their manners. The Flathead County Sheriff's Office received several complaints from folks who had gotten obscene or harassing phone calls. One caller, though, was polite enough to call dispatchers back and give them his phone number after he made obscene phone calls to them.

Trespassers on West Valley left a caller two presents: vodka bottles, one full, one empty. A prowler was reported on Mennonite Church Road.

Some thieves in the area seem to be in need of music for the weekend. A radio was reported stolen from a boat in Whitefish and a musician on Bernard Road is missing his guitar.

Political signs and plastic pumpkins were snatched from a home on Two Mile Drive. Someone looking for entertainment reportedly stole a TV on Ridgewood. A mini motorcycle was taken from Mountain View Drive. Loud vehicles annoyed someone on Airport Road.

Another thief in Bigfork was after a meal when he or she allegedly stole food and money form a home on Alpine Drive. A caller on Solberg reported that someone tried to burn down a trailer and stole some items.

A man lived up to the name of his street when officers arrested him on Tangent Road for partner assault after a caller reported that he was screaming and making threats.

A mountain lion was spotted on South Fork Road. A man on Pleasant View Drive reported that he had to shoot an aggressive dog.

A caller reported possible child endangerment at Julie's Bar when a child was seen sitting in a car unattended for several hours.

A shooter took aim at a mailbox on Swan River Road. A mailbox on Helena Flats also was destroyed. Bad checks were reported in Happy Valley.

Sibling rivalry reared its head on Farm to Market. A mother called from work to say her daughters were at home, fighting and pulling hair.
