Kalispell police broke out the handcuffs for a series of arrests Friday night and Saturday morning.

A man, 30, was arrested Friday night for possession of drugs and for outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions on Eighth Avenue West.

A man and a woman were arrested for partner assault after a fight that broke out near Elrod School on Third Avenue West late Friday.

A man, 28, was arrested for two outstanding Kalispell warrants and a Columbia Falls warrant on the 400 block of Liberty Street late Friday. Also arrested at the scene were two males for being juveniles in possession of alcohol.

A woman, 20, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the Mulligan's Conoco.

A boy, 15, was arrested for shoplifting from Smith's Foods.

There was a report of a man being assaulted at Scotty's Bar, but he did not pursue a complaint with police.

A man was arrested early Saturday morning for DUI at Airport Road and Merganser Drive.

A resident on the 900 block of Eighth Street West reported that someone had driven over a mailbox.

Two speakers were reported stolen from a vehicle that had been parked in the Gateway Mall parking lot.

A mountain bike was reported stolen from a garage on the 700 block of Fifth Avenue West.

Kalispell Police officers cited the owner after a Rottweiler jumped a fence on Fifth Avenue East and menaced a passing citizen. The dog made a getaway to Third Avenue East.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Kalispell Medical Equipment on Thursday. The pickup was described as a '92 white Dodge pickup with a blue "headache" rack and the Kalispell Medical Equipment logo on the door.

A driver caused a commotion in front of Sawbucks near midnight Wednesday. An employee at the business told officers a red Chevy pickup was driving along pushing a barrel and knocking over cones like bowling pins.

Construction workers had trouble near the same spot earlier Wednesday when a man in a green '88 Chevy attempted to drive over concrete at Airport Road and Main. The concrete was not damaged but workers reported the driver was "acting goofy."

A woman reported she was attacked by another woman at Main and Third late Wednesday.

A 9-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday evening after police were called about someone trying to set things on fire at a storage unit on north Meridian. Officers found boxes partially burned and containers of kerosene at the storage unit.

Residents reported shots fired near Woodland Park.

Teenagers racing a Honda and a Ford Ranger got a red flag when police officers caught up with them in the Target store parking lot.

A resident notified police about a caller who tried to get a social security number by claiming a bank account had a problem.
