Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is looking for information on a grizzly bear poaching.
Sometime around Oct. 24, a grizzly was killed near Johnson Creek near the Swan weigh station south of Bigfork.
Information on the crime may be worth up to $1,000 for anyone who knows what happened.
John Fraley of Fish, Wildlife and Parks said no information on the description of the bear or how it was killed will be released. Investigators can better verify the veracity of tips if details aren't released.
The case is under investigation by state and federal officials.
In addition to a reward from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the state's TIPMONT program also offers a reward for information leading to a conviction.
