Kalispell fire department had 13 calls. At 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Seventh Avenue East North resident who wanted an ambulance ride to the hospital for a toothache decided to go by private vehicle. Tuesday afternoon, a man found in distress in a vehicle on Appleway Drive was taken to the hospital. He left against a doctor's advice, but returned by ambulance later in the day from Lakeside.
